11.03.10 Interview with Mr. Arkadiy Vershebenyuk, Director of Investment Services Department of COLLIERS International

—  Company Collіers Іnternatіonal has decided to participate in this year Spring Business Forum. Please tell, why did your company made such decision?
—  The deferred demand has been formed in Ukraine in 2009, which in case of the further improvement of economic indicators, can already become more active in the second half of 2010. A big number of investors, who have the waiting attitude, already consider more practically the possibility of investment transactions. The basic centers, in which the sale of assets is possible, are, of course, Kyiv, and also cities with population over a million, such as Kharkiv, Donetsk, Odessa, and Lviv.

It is possible to expect participation of leading representatives of business, authorities, investors and sellers of the real estate at the Spring Business Forum. There can be interesting and useful to the audience the overview of the real estate market in regional centers on the example of countries of Eastern Europe, and the projection to commercial real estate of Ukraine, and, first of all, of Lviv region. Thus, potential investors can see the real prospects of investment, risks and the potential profits, which are presently possible on the market. Nevertheless more useful, of course, as during any Forum, is the possibility of live dialogue and meetings, which are planned in non-working time.

— What are your expectations from this year Spring Business Forum?
— Considering the success of the Spring Business Forum in 2009 and its positive results, we have agreed to the offer of organizers concerning our participation in Forum this year. Moreover, we hope that the Spring Business Forum 2010 will become even more actual and live. We are looking forward with impatience for the Forum 2010 and are assured in its results.
